HARROBITNATURAL ENVIRONMENTS/ RECONSTRUCTED

THE ENVIRONMENT LIBRARY / COMING SOON

Natural environments.
Reconstructed.

Gaussian splats and editable 3D environment layers, built from real-world data.
For film, games and AI-assisted production.

01 / AI-augmented result
THE WORLD, TAKEN APART

THE SOURCE / FROM LANDSCAPE TO LAYERS

The land leaves
a pattern.

Harrobit processes and cleans public LiDAR point clouds, then uses machine learning to classify and catalogue the data. The ridges, gullies and cliffs retain their character as tileable environment layers you can use together or work with separately.

Nadir view of forest, clearings and rocky slopes, reconstructed from measured landscape data.

01 / TERRAIN

Before the trees.
Before the textures.

Start with the measured landform.

Adjoining terrain tiles selected across a mountain landscape.

Elevation data from filtered public LiDAR point clouds preserves the ridges, gullies and cliffs that give a location its character, with vegetation removed from the terrain surface. Compatible neighbours connect within a shared zone. Import the terrain, edit it to your needs and dress the scene in your own 3D workflow.

02 / SPLAT MASKS

Materials follow
the measured world.

Surface classes, extracted by machine learning.

An example tile with colour-coded snow, rock, soil, grass and high vegetation. Colours and classes vary by area.

Move beyond procedural masks. Harrobit’s classifier extracts surface classes from the measured source to guide material placement and texture blending. Keep the location’s distinctive rock, soil and vegetation patterns, without a generic procedural look.

03 / SCATTER POINTS

Keep the distribution.
Choose your assets.

Dress the scene with the landscape’s own patterns.

Vegetation reconstruction driven by measured point distributions registered to the terrain.

Measured vegetation becomes scatter points registered to the terrain, with real-world scale attributes. Populate the distributions with your own vegetation assets and keep the location’s pattern.

04 / SYNTHETIC GAUSSIAN SPLATS

Your camera.
A whole environment.

Import it. Explore it. Frame the shot.

A wooded canyon reconstructed as an example synthetic Gaussian splat environment.

Harrobit’s synthetic Gaussian splats are trained from renders of the reconstructed environment. Import them into a 3D or compositing app with splat support. Explore camera paths in real time, try a lens and frame the shot, without assembling the terrain and vegetation first.

05 / AI FINISHING

Give AI
a 3D foundation.

The stage is yours. Take the image further.

A 3D camera reference at top left alongside three AI-generated variations in seasons, foliage and lighting.

An AI image can suggest a whole world. Harrobit gives you the 3D foundation to stage a shot within it. Set the camera and block the action. Bring in the matching terrain, material masks and scatter points when you need editable geometry or want to place characters, props and vehicles.

  • 3D reference
  • AI augmentation
  • Creative control

A simple playblast.

Block the action and camera in 3D. Use the playblast as a reference to guide your video AI model.

A Gaussian-splat render.

Augment a detailed view of the environment. Explore seasons, lighting and atmosphere, then refine the final shot.

Prefer a full 3D finish? Dress, light, render and comp with the editable layers. Combine both approaches when it serves the shot.
